Buttercream with a Brushstroke

This one’s for the cake collectors who know good drama when they see it.
We’re talking actual buttercream brushstrokes, hand-painted petals layered over a vintage canvas of piped textures, ruffles, and sugar-fueled confidence.

You don’t stumble into a cake like this.
You commit to a vibe.

Whether you're celebrating a milestone or you just like your cake with a little extra ✨attitude✨, this is the kind of piece that gets remembered. Long after it’s been sliced, or, let’s be honest, immortalized on your feed forever.

Monochrome Pink Buttercream Cake with Vintage Swags

If you're planning a party with a specific palette, sometimes the best choice is to keep the cake in the same key.

This all-pink buttercream cake was made with that in mind: soft, tonal, and full of detail. I used vintage piping techniques, ruffles, swags, and fine scrolls to create interest through texture instead of contrast.
This kind of work gives me room to focus fully on technique: spacing, layering, and balance. I love how it turned out, one color, but not one note.
