A Vintage Cake That Belongs in the Room

When I got the inspiration photos from this bridal shower venue, I knew I had to make something that felt like it belonged there. The dusty rose tones, the navy accents, the soft lighting; it all had a vintage, slightly moody charm. So I ran with it.

This cake was my take on translating that vibe into buttercream.
No flowers. No fluff. Just detailed piping, tailored bows, and swags in shades of pink and blue to echo the decor around it.

I don’t always match cakes to venues, but when I do, it hits different. The cake becomes part of the story, part of the space. Not just a dessert on a table. It’s almost like the room was waiting for it.

This one was for a bridal shower, but honestly, this kind of thing works for any celebration where the details matter.
