Watercolor Flower Cookies

This set of cookies is painted in pretty colors like watercolors, using paint that you can actually eat. Inspired by the flowers on the event's invitation.

Hand-painting cookies is quite a challenge. You need to be quick because if you brush the cookie too hard, the paint dissolves the sugary base, and then the cookie is ruined. Despite this, I still prefer painting over the printed cookies that are so common nowadays. Even though making printed cookies is easier since a machine does the work, they lack the handmade touch that I love putting into everything I create.

Creating a set of cookies inspired by The Nutcracker ballet is an absolute delight for me! It's a cherished theme during the holiday season, and I find immense joy in bringing it to life each time. These cookies were crafted with inspiration from the delightful designs of the Wilde Peach Party collection, perfect to be shared as favors at a special little girl's first birthday celebration.

Did you know that The Nutcracker Ballet made its debut at the Mariinsky Theater in St. Petersburg, Russia, on December 17, 1892? Marius Petipa, a renowned choreographer, commissioned the esteemed Russian composer Peter Tchaikovsky to create the ballet, and the score drew inspiration from Alexandre Dumas' adaptation of E.T.A Hoffmann's tale.

However, it wasn't until Christmas Eve of 1944 that the San Francisco Ballet introduced "The Nutcracker" to its repertoire. Subsequently, it wasn't until the 1960s that the full-fledged production of the "Nutcracker" ballet gained substantial traction, evolving into an enduring Christmas tradition cherished across the United States.

Vintage style cookies

These cookies are an ideal choice for bridal showers, anniversaries, or wedding favors. They showcase exquisite floral designs that provide a three-dimensional texture to each cookie.

But what truly captures my heart is the vintage-style cake cookie! Picture presenting these cookies alongside a beautifully decorated cake in the same charming vintage style. It's a perfect match that will elevate any special occasion.

Cookies for Victoria Magazine

Baking for my favorite magazine, Victoria, was a delightful experience that allowed me to combine my passion for baking with my love for this exquisite publication. The opportunity arose when I was invited to showcase my culinary creations at the prestigious Victoria Magazine Live Your Bliss retreat. The event's last luncheon was hosted at Tallwood Country Home, nestled amidst the picturesque landscapes of Clifton, Virginia.

To capture the refined nature of Victoria, I envisioned cookies adorned with delicate monograms and flowers in soft hues of ivory and blue.

As I carefully decorated each cookie with the monograms representing Victoria Magazine, a sense of pride washed over me, knowing that I was about to contribute to an event that celebrated everything I admired about this publication.

The monograms symbolized the timeless elegance and attention to detail that Victoria embodies in every issue.

The flowers were carefully chosen to match the mood and style of the event. With each petal and bud, I sought to mirror the gentle beauty of the flowers that often grace the pages of Victoria. The soft ivory and blue hues not only complemented the magazine's aesthetic but also added a touch of sophistication to the cookies.

Baby shower cookies

Baby shower cookies are a popular choice when it comes to sweet treats for welcoming a new baby into the world. These particular cookies are truly special, as they feature hand-painted designs of adorable teddy bears and beautiful hydrangeas.

The hand-painted teddy bear designs add a touch of whimsy and playfulness to the cookies.

These cookies can be customized to match the baby shower theme or color scheme, making them a versatile option for any occasion. They can be individually wrapped and given as party favors, or displayed as a centerpiece for everyone to admire.
