Vintage Cameo Buttercream Cake

This one feels like opening an antique jewelry box your grandmother kept tucked away… except it’s cake.

This design started with one idea: a sugar cameo framed in buttercream ruffles. From there, the rest of the cake became a mix of piping, vintage textures, and pastel tones. The sides were inspired by brocade fabric, the kind you might see on a vintage gown or an heirloom ribbon. Every swirl and scroll was piped by hand, in two shades of blush and ivory.
