For this custom two-tier birthday cake, Iwanted to capture everything that makes summer celebrations so memorable. Pastel colors create cheerful palette, while ice cream cones and sprinkles add playful charm throughout the design.
One of my favorite details is the scalloped border around the lower tier, inspired by the striped awnings of vintage ice cream carts. It adds just enough nostalgia while complementing the clean, buttercream finish.
Every Rose Vanilla cake is individually designed and handcrafted, ensuring each celebration receives a one-of-a-kind creation that reflects both the event and my signature buttercream style.
Whether you're planning a first birthday or celebrating another summer milestone, whimsical themes like this continue to be among our favorite custom cake designs.
This vintage-style buttercream cake was created with hand-piped ruffles, tiny roses, and soft pinks for an elegant, understated birthday celebration. Inspired by antique linens and cake artistry of the past.
