Miniature Cakes for Victoria Magazine

In addition to crafting the Victoria Magazine cookies, I took on the delightful task of preparing the desserts showcased at Victoria Magazine's "Live Your Bliss" Tallwood House luncheon. I conjured up miniature buttermilk cakes, filled and adorned with Swiss Meringue buttercream.

Taking inspiration from the very essence of the event's floral decor and style, I artfully garnished the cakes with an array of buttercream flowers, handcrafted to mirror the beauty and charm of the surroundings. With a careful eye for detail, I ensured that the colors of these edible blossoms complemented the overall ambiance, leaving a lasting impression on the palates and hearts of the guests.

It was truly a joy to witness the mini culinary creations being savored and appreciated, as the desserts became the perfect sweet finale to an already memorable luncheon. The experience reaffirmed my passion for crafting delightful treats that delight the senses and create cherished memories for all who have the privilege of indulging in them.

A semi naked cake beauty

This showstopper is a cinnamon cake filled with “dulce de leche” that is barely frosted with vanilla buttercream for a semi-naked finish.

Buttercream peonies, ranunculus, roses and tiny hydrangeas in soft pink and ivory adorn the top and bottom of this beautiful cake.
