Red Horseshoes & Rococo Piping, A Horse Country Birthday Cake

This cake was designed for a birthday celebration in Virginia’s horse country, a place where equestrian style runs deep. It was made for the two daughters of a client I’ve created cakes for in the past. Each project with them is a chance to explore something new, and I’m always honored by the trust they place in me.

For this cake, I mixed buttercream rope piping, red horseshoes, and ornate rococo details to create something truly personal. The color palette, taupe, pale blue, and red gave the design balance and contrast.
