Peter Rabbit First Birthday Cake | A Whimsical Buttercream Garden

Can we talk about those tiny buttercream cabbages? Or, as the French would say, les petits choux?

There's something so charming about a Peter Rabbit first birthday celebration. The colors, the garden setting, and the nostalgia of Beatrix Potter's beloved stories make it such a beautiful theme for a little one's special day.

For this custom first birthday cake, I wanted to bring a tiny storybook garden to life, with Peter Rabbit himself right in the middle of it all.

Sugar paste cabbages, miniature carrots, foliage, and tiny buzzing bees brought the garden to life. A sweet white picket fence wrapped around the cake, while Peter Rabbit, dressed in his signature blue jacket, completed the storybook-inspired design.
