I deesigned this Alice in Wonderland Cake to bring the tea-party chaos to life, the card games gone wild, the clumsy magic, the “wait, which way is up?” energy. The entire story spins around the cake: Alice dives straight into the buttercream florals on top, striped stockings kicking in the air, while the White Rabbit rushes around the side clutching his pocket watch.

Illustrations wrap around the cake like pages of a storybook. The base is decorated in pastel lilac harlequin diamonds, tiny mushrooms pop up along the mossy piping, and the ruffled borders feel like dresses swirling at an un-birthday celebration.

The whole design is deliberately playful. Nothing needs to make sense. It just needs to delight you.
