Mini Peony Cupcakes for the Grand Opening of Bearfield Farm in Marshall, Virginia
/There is something especially rewarding about transforming flowers into buttercream form, especially when working on a miniature scale. For the grand opening of Bearfiled Farm in Marshall, VA, I created a collection of floral cupcakes inspired by soft spring blooms and delicate garden flowers.
This collection featured hand piped buttercream peonies and blossoms in blush pinks, lavender tones, ivory, and sage greens. Each cupcake was designed individually, allowing every flower to have its own natural movement, shape, and personality.
Peonies are known for their many layered petals, and recreating them in miniature form was both challenging and exciting. The process required careful piping and attention to detail to create realistic petals while still maintaining the softness and texture that makes buttercream flowers feel lifelike.
The floral assortment included:
Mini buttercream peonies
Open blossom flowers
Layered garden-inspired florals
One of my favorite parts of creating floral cupcakes is how edible art can completely transform a dessert table.
If you are planning a wedding, bridal shower, baby shower, grand opening, or special celebration, floral cupcakes can be customized in a variety of flower styles and color palettes to match your event design perfectly.
